Do not use this method, this will drive you crazy if you have a complex objects. Instead use object>intervine>make.

Thank you for sharing this! It would have been great to see the actual signature process. I can see in InDesign where to add a signature field, but I'm unclear on how it works on execution. And if we can have multiple signatures assigned -- or if that's an Adobe Sign process and can't be done in InDesign. I'm trying to streamline our contracts process, which require a minimum of three signatures from three different parties each time. I know I'm 2 years late to the party here :) But if you see this OP, please let me know if multiple signatures are possible (without someone accidentally missing a spot to sign or signing someone else's spot.) Thanks!

You can also go to Object > Create Trim Marks.. this will allow you to delete the object aftewards instead of choosing no fill. Because if you accidentally move that object, the trim marks will follow. You can lock the object but eliminating it altogether might just be easier so you don't have to manage that extra layer. Just my 2 cents - thanks for the video regardless! :)
